Evolution of the magnetic hyperfine field profiles in an ion-irradiated Fe60Al40 film measured by nuclear resonant reflectivity

چکیده
Nuclear resonant reflectivity (NRR) from an Fe 60 Al 40 film was measured using synchrotron radiation at several grazing angles near the critical angle of total external reflection. Using laterally resolved measurements after irradiation with 20 keV Ne + ions gradually varying fluence 0–3.0 × 10 14 cm −2 , progressive creation ferromagnetic A2 phase increasing ion confirmed. The observed depth selectivity method has been explained by application standing wave approach. From time spectra nuclear scattering in reflection directions profiles for different hyperfine fields were extracted. results show that highest magnetic (∼18–23 T) are initially created central part and partially bottom interface SiO 2 substrate. evolution onset, commencing a fixed within propagating towards interfaces, directly observed. At higher (3.0 ) distribution fractions became more homogeneous across depth, accordance previous results.

By studying the properties of matter during heavy-ion collisions, a better understanding of the Quark-Gluon plasma is possible. One of the main areas of this study is the calculation of the magnetic field, particularly how the values of conductivity affects this field and how the field strength changes with proper time. In matching the theoretical calculations with results obtained in lab, two diffe...

Nuclear magnetic octupole moment and the hyperfine structure of the 5D3Õ2,5Õ2 states of the Ba+ ion
The hyperfine structure of the long-lived 5D3/2 and 5D5/2 levels of Ba + ion is analyzed. A procedure for extracting relatively unexplored nuclear magnetic moments is presented. The relevant electronic matrix elements are computed in the framework of the ab initio relativistic many-body perturbation theory. Both the firstand the second-order in the hyperfine interaction corrections to the energ...
متن کاملHyperfine effects in the nuclear magnetic resonance of paramagnetic molecules
Paramagnetic, or open-shell, systems are often encountered in the context of metalloproteins, and they are also an essential part of molecular magnets. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is a powerful tool for chemical structure elucidation, but for paramagnetic molecules it is substantially more complicated than in the diamagnetic case. Before the present work, the theory of NMR of ...
